The Tiler by John

“The Tiler” by John Behan RHA - 1989

The idea for commissioning a unique piece of art to garnish the floor of Rocca Tiles showroom evolved from an evening spent by Carl Rocca with John Behan (accompanied by a few pints!!) in Freaney’s Bar, High Street, Galway in 1989. This piece that sits here was the working model for the large sculpture that adorns the main floor of the showroom.
